Parker Hannifin scoops Best Factory Award 2011

Parker Hannifin has won the top award at the Best Factory Awards 2011 held on September 30th at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in Piccadilly, London.
The Parker Hannifin Manufacturing, domnick hunter Process Filtration division in Tyne and Wear has been recognised for impressive workforce development and consistent achievement in exceeding corporate goals. The manufacturing plant serves and supplies filtration solutions for sectors as diverse as pharmaceutical, healthcare, food and beverage, and microelectronics and has seen sales figures soar and productivity increase by 11% while maintaining exceptional customer service levels.
The Parker domnick hunter Process Filtration plant at Birtley, Tyne and Wear has prospered ever since its acquisition by global leader in motion and control technologies Parker Hannifin, through the development of clear strategies that are aligned to corporate values and objectives. Success has been attributed to a ‘Win strategy’ that focuses employees on three key goals: customer service, financial performance and profitable growth. These objectives are achieved through maintaining and providing quality, on time delivery, value added service, innovative products, strategic procurement and lean operation.
