SKF, the knowledge engineering company, is to promote its machine tool spindle refurbishment service at MACH 2012, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from 16-20 April.

The SKF Spindle Service Centre enhances plant efficiency by allowing companies to extend the operating life of their machine tools and increases the quality of plant output by improving spindle precision.  Spindles of all brands used in a wide range of applications and industries can be repaired by the SKF Spindle Service Centre, which also offers consultancy, field support, performance upgrading and statistic reporting services.

In addition to extending the lifespan of damaged spindles, the SKF refurbishment service can offer valuable insight into the causes of damage, offering useful data to engineers when planning the future management and maintenance of plant systems.

Visitors to MACH 2012 will find SKF on stand 5073.
