Citizen recognises Newbury Data with Award of Excellence

Citizen Systems Europe recently presented an Award of Excellence to Jamie Tilley, Sales Director of Newbury Data in recognition of the company’s achievement in deploying innovative bespoke barcode and labeling solutions based on Citizen’s advanced printing technology. The award also recognised Newbury Data’s excellence in customer service and its development of new markets for label and barcode printing.

For the last decade, Newbury Data has worked with Citizen’s customers as a value added distributor in providing essential support and innovation. Newbury Data has been particularly active with the large logistics companies, such as: Geopost, DHL, CityLink and TNT, in supplying bespoke labelling solutions using Citizen's range of reliable and robust barcode printers.

Max Yamazaki, Director of Citizen Systems Japan presented the award: “We’re delighted to present this award to Jamie Tilley of Newbury Data in recognition of all the hard work and effort his team have put in to ensure Citizen customers have the right printer, the right software and the technical back up when they need it. The combined expertise of Citizen and Newbury Data in providing a high quality solution with excellent technical, customer-focussed support has benefited the logistics sectors considerably”.
